Climate Dot is a think and act research organisation committed to accelerate the energy transition. We develop ideas into pilot projects, translate data into meaningful, actionable recommendations. The organisation is incorporated as a Section 8, Not-for-Profit company under the Companies Act, 2013.

Our Mantras
Small is Beautiful
We shall always be a small group, never growing beyond 15 people. This is imperative to keep teams connected, contended and efficient. This may mean consciously not pursuing growth in terms of numbers and projects, but in terms of quality of work and impact.
Slow is Serene
We shall always take our time to reflect and constantly iterate on our work, even if this means slowing down some of our outputs. This stems from a belief that our current world is moving too fast, and not pausing to reflect on what we are producing. This is akin to the great masters of the Renaissance, who were slow, but whose work echoes across the valleys of time.
We will endeavour to work with funders who understand our values, and see our strategy as a counterpoint to the prevailing culture of speed and scale. While climate action is needed and indeed at an appreciable pace, we must make sure that we do not confuse speed with haste. This means, pausing every now and then to reflect on our work and check if what we are doing is indeed impactful.
