Climate Dot works across three core areas shaping India's energy and climate landscape: energy transition, e-mobility, and climate policy.
Energy Transition
We track India's shift from fossil fuels to clean energy, focusing on the power sector. By compiling and standardising data from regulatory filings, we build dashboards that enable comparisons across states and over time. This helps inform decisions on procurement, tariffs, and capacity planning, while laying the groundwork for tools that model future energy pathways.
E-Mobility
We analyse India's transport sector, a growing source of emissions, by tracking electric vehicle adoption through public data. Our dashboards enable comparisons across states, segments, and use cases. We also examine how urban infrastructure and public transport shape mobility patterns—asking: how does India move?
Climate Policy
We extend this work to track emissions across the four IPCC sectors, with a focus on subnational analysis. This includes building state-level inventories and supporting improvements in emissions data and reporting practices.
